We’ve always placed our love for the ocean at the heart of everything we do. From that very first rush of wind lifting my kite, to the invigorating spray of sea salt on my face, I realized we owe a tremendous debt of gratitude to nature. After all, without the ocean and the wind, none of this would be possible.
I’m proud to announce that we have been recognized as the “sustainable partner” of Guides & Stories Travel Website, uniting with them in the quest for a brighter future for our planet. This recognition came about because of our ongoing commitment to keep our beaches clean, our oceans healthy, and our local community engaged in safeguarding our environment.
We’ve been actively organizing and joining beach cleanups around Muine, driven by a passion to keep our shores pristine. It all kicked off with just a few of us who couldn’t stand seeing plastic bags and discarded fishing nets cluttering the coastline. What started small has quickly shown us the power of coming together—these efforts unite people, spark awareness, and ensure our sandy playground stays spotless for everyone to enjoy.
For me, the most rewarding part of these cleanups is the sense of unity they foster. Even if we start off as strangers, we become teammates almost instantly. Working side by side, collecting plastics and debris, we see how human actions can cause harm—but also how human actions can bring about real change. It’s incredible to watch our volunteers grow more conscious about sustainability in their everyday lives, well beyond the beach.
Being officially recognized as a sustainable partner kiteschool in Muine is an honor, but it’s also a responsibility. We’re now part of a global community of travelers and businesses that see sustainability and ecology not as an afterthought, but as a guiding principle. This partnership with Guides & Stories Travel Website means we’ll have even more opportunities to connect with people from around the world who care as deeply about the planet as we do.
At the same time, I want everyone to know that we never embarked on beach cleanups for the sake of fame or recognition. We do it because it’s the right thing to do. Our oceans give us boundless joy, challenge us in the best ways, and allow us to teach others the thrill of kite-surfing. Giving back to this environment is simply part of our mission.
